How important is the oil of my automatic transmission?
The oil of your automatic transmission plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of the gearbox, since you have to perform several functions simultaneously, such as removing heat, lubricating moving parts, cleaning impurities, hydraulic control valves and solenoids, as well as transmitting all power from the engine to the gearbox.

If the oil you want to use has the same approvals as the branded oil, you can substitute one for the other.
Warning, use of the incorrect oil may result in damage to your automatic transmission, so if in doubt, Driveline always recommends manufacture’s oil.

Properly changing the oil and filters of your automatic transmission is a crucial factor in its service life.
In order for your regular mechanic to be able to change the oil and filters of your automatic transmission, it is necessary to ensure that you have special tools and up-to-date diagnostic equipment.
The procedure for changing the oil and filters is different for each automatic transmission. It is critical that your mechanic have this knowledge.

Driveline recommends the exchange of oil and filters of its automatic transmission in intervals of 60 to 80 thousand km, according to the manufacturer.
